Abby’s written a very key article over at Notes From A Café: the conundrums of relieving one’s bladder while abroad. She’s right: travel guides hardly mention the subject, but boy, is it a very important one! One of the best tips I got from Marilyn when I was preparing to go to Paris was to use museum restrooms. Yes indeedy, one of the best advice yet!

Also, Jupiter is back on track today. Hurrah! Go read!

Now, just in case you’ve forgotten, it’s a big weekend, this weekend. Why? Because Oct. 22 is my hatchday.

Sascha asked what I wanted, so here’s my wishlist. But, y’ know, send me plenty of happies and good wishes and I’m happy. Actually, more importantly, I’d love for you to. . .

Go to the Madison Zine Fest on Oct. 21! It’s part of the Wisconsin Book Festival, and takes place at College Library (Helen C. White Hall, 600 N. Park St).

Just enter and head for the big room on the far right. I will be there selling my minicomics and getting up to my shenanigans, so stop by and say hi!

Well, preferably say hi, buy a minicomic, attend my workshop/panels, and ask a question, but I’ll take what I can get. (Ba-bing.)

My own b-day prezzie to myself will also be related to the book festival: seeing Neil Gaiman, natch. What, like this surprises you?

Be there, people! Make my day!
