Just in case you'd missed this piece I drew of Nwar and Blitz. . . well, now you haven't.

I also did some fan-art some time back for (click to see) Dave "Agnes Quill" Roman, Leigh's By The Wayside, and, of course, below was for super-Svet of Chasing Rainbows, she of whom I adore:

You can tell I'm missing Chasing Rainbows somethin' bad.

I'm thinking of sun and dresses and skirts and tanned shoulders and upcoming moves. Most of all, I'm thinking drawin' is good.

There's a new item in the shop -- a Bitters Past deleted scene! This page is being omitted from the comic because it just didn't gel with where I was going. Though I do like the markings on Red's arm in the second panel. Ah, Red. The page is exactly as you see here, with non-photo blue pencil for dialogue.

Want to get your hands on this? Click on the image for details! Or you can click here (aren't I helpful?).

Last Friday I went to Allison Bechdel's reading of her Fun Home, and it was great. If she's doing a reading or appearance in your area, you should definitely attend. I bought a copy and was in line to get it signed, but then I had an appointment I couldn't be late for, so I had to leave the line. Such a shame! But Fun Home really is worth a grab. The story really sticks with you, and now I'm going to go through it again to really look closely at each panel (I initially did that before, but that got in the way of reading so I reserved study for future time).

Oh, I'm a peep by the wall in this photo of her reading.

Have mailed out Sand & Stone originals to Eric today, along with a special something inside. G'bye, darling originals! I was a bit teary-eyed when I was assembling them all -- such memories, and some I actually had difficulty bidding farewell to! But I know they'll be going to a good home. Hope they reach Hawaii safely!

On a parting note, holy bleep, Yogabeans is so funny it smites. Love love love.

I'd previously shared the session involving Duke. Also as hilarious are the sessions featuring Duke & assassins and Hulk, Batman & Power Ranger.

As I told the boys, "I've never loved action figures as much as I do at this very moment."

Tria markers for these! I've started going back to markers, after a hiatus without them.

I love Fun Home! Glad to find another fan! I actually lucked out and found a reviewer copy in a dollar bin at a used bookstore about 6 months ago. I picked it up on a whim (needed something to read on the train ride back home) and I was sucked in immediately! I'll definitely check and see if she's scheduled for somewhere near me. :)

Thank you again for the fan art. I really loved it. :)
